Výstava, která je výsledkem týdenního plenéru ateliéru Interaktivní média, Fakulta umění a designu Univerzity J.E.Purkyně v Ústí nad Labem. Zaměřeno na fenomén světla, prostoru a cesty.

We are in a baroque church in Litoměřice
where the final works of students of interactive media
from the Faculty of Art and Design in Ústí nad Labem will take place.
We have decided to take here our students because of the space
that has locus loci. It is an amazing non renovated baroque building.
We have decided to use this this space for final exams in summer term.
I must say that is served as an open air training at the same time.
Specifics of this space are very clear. The 17th century is defined here.
The theme students should work with is called Via luci and it is about the work with light.
The aim was that the students work just with this phenomenon.
It would be a nonsense to try to win over the baroque space.
Because it is obvious that the baroque environment will always win.
The majority of works you can see here are just simple spatial solutions.
Further you can see illumination of some interesting details,
and the work with interactivity related to the space and light.
We visited this place several times before that every student could choose his place.
Then they realized their concepts.
Of course, during the work, some concepts had to be changed.
But thanks to those changes, the preparation, open air training and final realization
are very valuable.

Thanks to the Northern Bohemian Gallery in Litoměřice we could work here.
Normally the church is closed. So we want to thank them very much.
It may become a tradition.
As far as I talked to them, they would like to cooperate more with students.
This our open air training is the first swallow on our cognitional journey
through the Northern Bohemia where our students can get to know places
that are spatial and historically valuable.

    Ahoj kluci, tak jsem po čase zavzpomínal na Artyčok a musím samozřejmě pochválit skvělej obsah, ale trochu mě mrzí, že obrazová kvalita ten obsah důstojně neprezentuje. Proč je v obraze tak výrazně vidět komprese (třeba v černé, ale i ve struktuře dlaždic kostela)? A to i když si zapnu “HD” (i když by asi bylo vhodnější napsat HQ, vždyť to rozlišení je pouhá devítina HD). Půlmegabitovej bitrate, kterej používáte, je sice dost nízkej, ale pro H.264 by měl v tomhle malym rozlišení stačit. A navíc to vypadá, jako byste neudělali deinterlace (?!) – viz zubatice na hranách v pohybu. Taky je asi trochu škoda, že ani pro download nenabízíte větší rozlišení (nebo jsem si nevšiml?) – kdysi jsem dávali k dispozici 720p, dneska už by možná uživatelé ocenili i 1080p. Zdraví Honza
