Celostátní soutěž Cena EXIT pro studenty vysokých uměleckých škol v České republice je vyhlašovaná Fakultou umění a designu UJEP v Ústí nad Labem. Soutěž má charakter bienále a v tomto roku probíhá již její čtvrtý ročník.
Hlavní ambicí Ceny EXIT je spoluvytvářet aktivní a konkurenční prostředí na akademické půdě vysokých uměleckých škol, motivovat studenty k realizacím vlastních výtvarných projektů. Finálním výstupem Ceny EXIT je možnost realizace společné výstavy finalistů soutěže v Galerii Emila Filly v Ústí nad Labem

I have been honoured to announce you this year´s Exit Prize winner.
The winner is Libor Svoboda.
We tried to formulate a few sentences,
which would summarize the jury´s reasons why they chose Libor Svoboda.
The jury mainly appreciated the concentrated and clear testimony.
The author takes notice of important social paradoxes.
In his work the fear of insensitive approach to landscape reflects,
such as the arrogance of developers´activities and the desinterest of public.
With respect to the content, the work is overt,
and the installation uses well the potential of the exhibition space.
My work deals with the character of Czech landscape
that has changed a lot during the last decades due to the intensive building activity.
It has changed into a strange mixture of tinny warehouses, bypasses or peripheries.
It is as if I took a part of an industrial hall and transported it here.
Moreover, the testimony speaking through the fictitious logo, is self-regarding.
