Výstavní projekt ateliéru Jiřího Příhody v prostorách galerie vídeňské akademie.
It all started with the support of Mr Ševčík
and Mr Heimo Zobernig
who organized the whole thing.
The artists were selected by Dominik Lang,
the assistant of the project.
The beginning of the project was easier
than its actual execution.
The Vienna Academy invited the Prague Academy
to conceive a mutual project in connection
with Heimo Zobernig's studio of Textual Sculpture.
What's this thing I'm stepping in?
You're stepping in poppy seeds.
They're here in order to get stuck
to people's shoes and to be taken to grow
somewhere else.
What do these photos mean?
They're a collective inspiration
of all the exhibiting authors.
I wasn't into it at first
as I don't like this type of paper things
but if I look at it
as a line cutting through the exhibition
like a common idea,
I like it. It helps to ironize the event,
to point out that the exhibition
is just a collection of works
that can match well together, or not.
In the big building over there
I'll do something between a concert
and a performance.
