Anna Huláčová.
Speciální pozvánku získává Anna Huláčová.
The second prize is granted to Petra Malá.
Jan Pfeiffer wins the first prize.
I have there two things.
The first work contains three photos.
It is named after the first one.
The first one originated by accident.
It was in Prague on a bus stop in direction to the Airport.
There are people of different nationalities.
Then I created two other pictures in Berlin and New York
when I was waiting for similar situations, and searched for similar places,
therefore it can be said that is about similarity of various places.
The second work related to that is called "From".
They are three objects: chair, table, plate.
Each thing is divided. Each part is from a different country.
But it still looks ordinary.
I like Petr Valér a lot.
I think it is nice that it has two positions.
It is a large object that comes out of his personal stays in various places.
It is witty and imaginative.
I have been surprised by his second work,
by the way he was able to transform it.
I have been pleased most by his work.
I have made a suitcase that can be shut.
It is of sandy colour.
It conceals a castle inside.
So I can carry my own kingdom with me.
I can put the crown on my head whenever I want.
It is a personal kingdom that everybody has inside.
In the course of this year I made some cakes.
Here you can see this kind of pavement. It is made of cobblestones.
In a park there was a place where some cobblestones were pulled out.
So I filled it with cakes.
I have predicted Jan Pfeiffer.
And I like Petr Valér´s works as well.
The jury comprises experienced people
who realize that art is not sport or olympics
that it is difficult to measure it objectively.
Furthermore, this competition is open to all media.
If it was focused only on painting it would be easier.
However, we have here video, and we compare performance with painting.
So just at the beginning we told us that we would not compare works as such,
but we would discuss about works and try to find authors
with the biggest potential and significant authenticity of expression.
The majority intends to discuss with participants about their works after the proclamation.
Of course, it may happen that we realize
that the winner is not as interesting as
somebody who occupies the seventh place.
I don´t remember it so well.
But I think that all three winners were my favourites as well.
Also I liked Jan Chlup, a painter.
He attracted me by his expression.
Fundamentally, I can say that the decision was very difficult
because the Czech participants´ quality was very high.
I would not like to be seen as a patriot, but comparing it with the other four countries
we visited, in fact, here were seven participants in the narrower selection.
And anybody of them could be the winner. Finally, it was up the jury.

Here you can express yourself.
