The film captures frequent  event  that sooner or later occurs in most of households. We are talking about  replacement of o lder CRT TV for bigger flat LCD or  plasma TV.

Giles Bunch’s video piece which is a response to the Kitchen being a place of ritual, habit, tasks and gender. It does not lack serious acting of slapstick, nor stupidity of midnight kitchen party. Giles Bunch himself teetering on the edge of embarrassment, a symbol of our everyday life.

“Cómo sos tan lindo” (How Come You Are So Beautiful), which the artist began to work on in 2005, explores a man’s self-perception with respect to masculine beauty. The project begins in each different place by placing an advertisement in the local papers: “Casting. Attractive men needed for photos.”

Virtual soul waste video is a short visual narrative taking us on a trip through the world of odinary urban environments. It is made out of digitalised offset prints taken from books on 70’s socialist architecture and about houskeeping. Crumbling scenes of buildings and empty rooms evoke the intimate atmosphere balancing between cosiness and cataclysm.

Another uncomfortably cold video from series of Adéla Babanová raises the artistic self-centredness , where every compliment is followed by admiration or flattery expected from the other side. As in the previous video Zurich here we find the trio of actors, including Eugene Moire figures. And as well as everything in the end / beginning revolves around the theme of death.

Colour Scene from the beach, at the first look can be connected with famous Manet’s painting “Dejeuner sur l’herbe”, but what makes this version of the famous composition provocative is inversed gender relation. Projecting this video in the public space would pick voyeuristic attitude on unexpected consummating territories. This time gaze isn’t faced to female body, instead, it is inversed to the male body. Contextualizing of this kind of complete change could be queered.

About Art is video by Adela Svobodova that its character could be likened to a kind of random selection from the record cliche of contemporary artists. Needless to say, that from a conceptual point of view not wholly dedicated to it is not clear why the majority of Czech artists appears instead of a foreign star. Let’s try to say that Czech artists, perhaps more art form than to talk about it and Adela Svobodova just had to fill small gaps of her fine dramaturgy using international renown. And as soon as the first communication is by Michael Pěchouček that we can always find a gap. Always.

Still open is pursuing research discontinuity / continuity of Czech art of the past decade, as indicated in the document, a video created in collaboration Jan Mančuška and Zbynek Baladran (Video, 2003).
