The exhibition presents two teachers and selected students from their workplaces. Dušan Zahoranský now only externally communicates with the Department of Art and Design at the University of West Bohemia and Michal Pěchouček stands in for the summer semester at the Department of Art University J.E.Purkyne in Ustí nad Labem.

It is as if searching for the beginning of a mantra. Undeniably David Böhm and Jiří Franta are as strangely put, “drawers”. It frequently seems that the final product of their projects is drawing (which technically fits).

Mira Gáberová, representing the young generation of the Slovak artists, who got onto the creative stage after 2000, freely chooses media necessary for her expression. She paralelly engages in drawing, painting, object, graffiti installation. Yet one of her strongest means of expression is the video and digital Technologies media.

Video as an artistic practice is fairly new in Russia. Its origins date back in the mid 1980s, but its affirmation took place only a decade later with the opening of the first spaces devoted to contemporary art.

In exhibition Perfection are works of students, graduants and graduates from the Studio of Intermedia and Multimedia Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. The collaborative archiving project ‘Transitland’, was realized on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. It presents a selection of 100 single-channel video works, produced in the period 1989-2009 and reflecting the transformations in post-socialist Central and Eastern Europe.

The MMX gallery opened in January 2010, located on a purely commercial gallery street Linienstraße in the district of Mitte. Round the corner, you can find the tourist symbol of Berlin – Tacheles – and across the street, the mainstream Prenzlauer Berg. In simple terms, a great location. The MMX gallery consists of many different rooms. It is a complicated space.

The exhibition of Václav Sika’s works presents section of his objects and painting over the past 15 years.
Since 1990, Vaclav Sika operates as a leading of Špillar brethren gallery in Domažlice. He started art activity at the late seventies. On his work is evident not only influence the time, but especially the environment in which he lives and works.

What the world could be created within a few days in a restricted environment of the gallery space? The first impulse to organize an exhibition on the theme of Creation of the Worlds was last year’s visit in 53rd Venice Biennale. Besides the pavilions representing individual states, was a key issue Biennial Making Worlds.
