DON’T WASTE TIME WITH ART

Markus Huemer joins media art with traditional art themes and motives in his paintings, installations and projections. He deeply concentrates on the painting itself, his construction, translation and interpretation. Huemer himself calles his work, which is strongly inspired by media and technology without loosing poetic and aesthetical contents, as media mannerism. His inspiration with Sigmar Polke and Jackson Pollock is evident in most of his paintings. As well as his ironic distance from „clasical“ art.
