V osobných archívoch majú čas a priestor celkom iné parametre ako v reálnom živote. Možno preto, že do archívov vstupujeme ako cudzinci.Náš svet má odlišné usporiadanie, než aké poznali ich zostavovatelia. Napriek tomu sa archívy pokúšame čítať a rekonštruujeme, čo utváralo vzťahy jednotlivcov a spoločenstiev, čo ich spájalo a vzájomne zbližovalo. Návrat do tejto
skúsenosti je dôvodom, pre ktorý výstava vzniká. Kladie si za cieľ predstaviť vybrané fragmenty osobných archívov umelcov aktívnych na prelome 70. a 80. rokov v socialistickom Československu. Zaujímajú nás aktivity v rámci neformálnych komunít a záujmovo spriaznených spoločenstiev organizovaných mimo štátom riadené spoločenské štruktúry.
