Monografická výstava Jany Želibskej (1941) je pokračovaním výstavného a výskumného programu, ktorý prezentuje významné osobnosti dejín slovenského výtvarného umenia druhej polovice 20. storočia.Želibská patrí k progresívnej generácii akčných a konceptuálnych autorov z druhej polovice 60. rokov 20. storočia na Slovensku. Vo svojej tvorbe špecificky prehodnocovala podnety neo-avantgardných tendencií, najmä francúzskeho Nového realizmu a pop-artu. Na bývalej československej scéne stála pri zrode environmentálneho umenia v 60. rokoch, postmoderného objektu a inštalácie na konci 80. rokov a videoumenia v 90. rokoch 20. storočia. Želibská otvoreným feministickým prístupom tematizuje ženské telo; v jej tvorbe sa tieto zámery prelínali s dobovo príznačnými témami alternatívnej scény a neoficiálneho umenia na Slovensku. Výstava je postavená na dokumentácii performancií a akcií v krajinnom prostredí, na konceptuálnych dielach a projektoch s výstupmi vo fotografiách, dokumentoch a objektoch.
