CJCH 2014 – 555 – Pohlednice
Čtvrtá ze zastávek projektu 555 se odehrála v Ostravě a představila se Lucia Sceranková, umělkyně žijící střídavě v Praze a Londýně. Sceranková vystudovala v ateliéru Vladimíra Skrepla na Akademii výtvarných umění v Praze. Její současná tvorba se koncentruje na práci s fotografií. Scerankovou zajímá vztah fotografického obrazu k realitě, schopnost naší vizuální reflexe skutečnosti a možnosti ovlivňování jednoho druhým. Fotografuje imaginární scenérie, inscenované nebo nalezené situace. Bez použití digitálních zásahů ručně přetváří realitu. Zajímá ji práce s iluzí a vliv jemných manipulací na další fungování obrazu a jeho asociační potenciál.
Nový projekt, který Lucia Sceranková v Ostravě představila se jmenuje Pohlednice a odehrál se v prostoru vyhlídky věže Nové radnice na Prokešově náměstí. Parafrázuje francouzského teoretika Rolanda Barthese – fotka není rám, nýbrž úkryt. Instalace se vrátila ke hře s prazáklady technického zobrazování a principu fotografie. Běžné objekty se změnili na optické aparáty. Pro návštěvníky tak vznikli živé modely výhledu.
Večer se program přesunul do Minikina v Kostelní ulici, kde Lucia Sceranková připravila autorskou prezentaci svých inspiračních zdrojů a vlastní umělecké tvorby nazvanou Slunce ve vitríně a další věci.
