Výchozí pozice
Jak kurátor ovlivňuje uměleckou scénu? Jakou míru manipulace má nad prezentovaným dílem? A jak je vnímána pozice kurátora v kontextu výstav?
Tyto tři klíčové otázky stály u zrodu dvouletého výzkumného projektu Pozice kurátor, reflexe a diskuze kurátorské profese v České republice, který bude v průběhu roku formou debat, přednášek a konference prezentován v kulturní fabrice Armaturka v Ústí nad Labem.
Projekt startuje výstavou Výchozí pozice, která představí kurátorskou hru a souhru nad současným uměním. Výběr děl, definovaný jednoduchým klíčem – nové promýšlení média a formy, vedený kurátorkami Lenkou Sýkorovou a Romanou Veselou, které mají jasně vyhraněnou a jednoduše rozlišitelnou oblast svého zájmu, bude po čtrnácti dnech doplněn o pohled Kariny Kottové zaměřený na zintenzivnění zprostředkování výstavy a uměleckých děl divákovi. Na začátku dubna převezme kurátorskou štafetu Jan Krtička, který se přesahy do kurátorství zabývá ve své umělecké tvorbě.
