Sedm děl, která testují limity umění pohyblivých obrazů. Výtvarní umělci, experimentální filmaři a další tvůrci hledající neobvyklé možnosti filmu, kterým nechybí myšlenková hloubka ani smysl pro humor.
Rozvoj technologie v posledních letech smazává hranice mezi výtvarným uměním, divadlem, videoartem a filmem. Filmaři vystavují v galeriích, výtvarní umělci mají přehlídky v kinech. Díla, která ještě nedávno patřila do úzce vymezeného kánonu své disciplíny, inspirují umělce z obou stran pomyslné hranice.
V Multikině uvidíte díla z historie i ze současnosti pohyblivého obrazu. Zvláštní důraz při jejich výběru byl kladen na jazyk filmu a jeho limity. Jednotliví tvůrci na přehlídce zkoumají oblast, kterou bychom mohli nazvat ontologií pohyblivého obrazu. Testují způsoby, kterými film nebo video dokáže zaznamenat pohyb, čas nebo podobu věcí. Zvlášť přitažlivá je pro ně analýza kinematografických konvencí, paradoxy hraného filmu nebo ekonomická podstata kinematografického průmyslu.
