Nina Beier a Marie Lund se s Jiřím Kovandou poprvé setkaly v Praze v roce 2006. Původem dánské umělkyně zde vystavovaly v Galerii Display. Od té doby se s Jiřím Kovandou několikrát setkaly na mezinárodní profesionální scéně,
například v Tate Modern v roce 2007, o rok později na výstavě All the Best v Gallery OneOneOne v Londýně a ve stejném roce je Jiří Kovanda přizval k účasti na své výstavě Když jsem byl malej, hrál jsem si s holkama v Galerii Klatovy / Klenová. Tyto společné aktivity jsou samy o sobě znamením existujících souvislostí v tvorbě a uvažování autorů. Vzájemné spojitosti nezanikly ani nyní, kdy se dvojice autorek rozhodla vydat každá svým směrem – Nina Beier žije a pracuje v Berlíně, Marie Lund v Londýně. Projekt, který umělci připravili pro Centrum současného umění DOX, bude jejich prvním společným konceptem. Ve svém názorovém východisku v sobě slučuje přístupy konceptuální, minimalistické, kontextuální a nový zájem o sochu a objekt. Projekt je koncipován jako vzájemný rozhovor mezi umělci a kurátorkou a tím se řídí i výběr jednotlivých prací. Výstava by na ploše tří pater měla představit práce umělců v přímých i méně zjevných tematických souvislostech, které umožní různé způsoby čtení.
