This selection presents works which have a collective ambition to remain between a public act and an artistic artefact. The “Just Between Us” exhibition represents the work of the younger generation of artists, who are commenting on the current social structure directly from its centre. The work covers political and cultural paradoxes, intimate events and performance on the margin of common human rituals. Part of the project is built in cooperation with the non-artistic community, and another part reacts for a change to the genius loci of a specific place. The aim of the exhibited work is not to get a definitive form – to become a gallery object. They work with the output and leave an ungraspable design. The poetics of inexactness have a similar character to a scent or odour, which may be invisible, but can fill an unknown space very well, and thus define it.
