Tomáš Džadoň (1981) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He is interested in the differences and contradictions between the modern lifestyle and cultural traditions of the Slovak environment. Preferring local to global, he works with the elements of local culture and transforms them into objects, site-specific installations and public interventions. His works are recognized for their typical teetering between kitsch and crucial subject matters of memory and nostalgia.

Ahoj Eva, zrejme ide o nedorozumenie, ktoré ma mrzí že vzniklo. Kamil mi už písal, a vidím, že to nesie ťažko!!! Daxnerovu bustu som si vybral pre natáčanie, práve kvôli tým užasným bielym uhrančivým očiam. Vedel som, že ich robil niekto z koceľky niekedy, ale nevedel som že to bol Kamil Kazub, Roland Neupauer, a bratia Priehybovci. Keď sme sa tam ráno objavili, oči boli čierne, preto som sa ich rozhodol namaľovať znova. Tej buste svedčia, preto sa ospravedlňujem ak sa niekomu zdá, že tento výborný nápad je môj. Nie je a ani nikdy nebol a ani v tomto videu sa k tomu nehlásim.
