- 00:00:37.949
- I didn't just want to make an exhibition connected to the Olympics Games.00:00:40.608
- 00:00:40.608
- I rather wanted to show in how many different ways00:00:45.465
- 00:00:45.465
- contemporary authors work with this sports phenomenon.00:00:49.086
- 00:00:49.086
- It presents a mosaics rather than a global view.00:00:53.136
- 00:00:53.136
- In order to facilitate visitor´s orientation among the exhibited works00:01:00.933
- 00:01:00.933
- I divided them into several open cycles.00:01:05.803
- 00:01:05.803
- We can find here works dealing with political,00:01:19.554
- 00:01:19.554
- social or societal problems within the sports phenomenon.00:01:24.206
- 00:01:24.206
- Such is the video by Tomáš Rafa "The Sports Wall in Michalovce"00:01:29.579
- 00:01:29.579

- 00:01:57.145
- Then there are works which critically operate00:02:02.046
- 00:02:02.046
- with the notion of "brand",00:02:06.632
- 00:02:06.632
- such as designer sports clothes or00:02:10.393
- 00:02:10.393
- multinational corporations which dominate the world.00:02:13.580
- 00:02:13.580
- Another group includes artists who portray sport as a physical activity00:02:17.280

- 00:02:59.381
- history, subjective experiences, subjective archeology, souvenirs etc.00:03:04.861
- 00:03:04.861
- This category is very heterogeneous00:03:15.212
- 00:03:15.212
- because here the idea of sport as such is not so important.00:03:17.240
- 00:03:17.240
- For instance Maria Čorejová uses a sports motif00:03:21.760
- 00:03:21.760
- in her series of drawing but only as a background.00:03:25.471
- 00:03:25.471
- Her personal experiences, concepts or even surrealistic visions00:03:32.073
- 00:03:32.073
- she expresses through her work are more important.00:03:37.390
- 00:03:37.390
- And, of course, sport is also fun;00:03:48.783
- 00:03:48.783
- that´s why there are many humorous performances00:03:52.285
- 00:03:52.285
- working with irony, gag even absurdity.00:03:56.881
- 00:03:56.881
