The group Guma Guar in its project “Collective Identity” critisizes the process of making agreement in democratic society.  The norm today is to use the techniques of Public Relations to manipulate the preferences of consumers and clients, but increasingly also the mindset of the voters, so that their opinions comply with the plans of the current government and the ruling entrepreneurial elite. It is in this context that we use the concept of “manufacturing consent” as coined by American journalist Walter Lippman.
