In Jelení Gallery David Helán shows a mix of artifacts and videos, which is mainly connected through the complicated author’s thinking.

The works in “I Don’t Want to Know More About Your Pivotal Projects, Nor about Any Others” are united by their characteristic relationship to low light (i.e., darkness, night, and black colors), but also to cities, streets and asphalt, and pure chance – underexposed works of an objective nature, objects of questionable origin, photographs that have been roughly torn out of the context of everyday life. Because this project also included the parallel creation of other artifacts (in particular, numerous videos and one installation that managed to break free from the yearning for the night-time, from the unceasing desire to simply come closer to the limits of visibility), the entire project was saved by several quite colorful works.
