4 WINDOWS – FUNERAL
Framed windows as vertical surfaces clearly separate the private and public space. Nevertheless, due to reflections on its surface refer to blending these two worlds. Provide a look inside and out. The exhibition will terminate bidirectional perspective and offer a different perspective, artificial, which should allay everyday thoughts and start a new communication.
- "4 windows"00:00:06.201
- 00:00:06.201
- Welcome to the second year00:00:17.052
- 00:00:17.052
- of the "4 Windows" exhibition.00:00:19.150
- 00:00:19.150
- Let's start by a funeral:00:00:21.921
- 00:00:21.921
- an exhibition and a happening at the same time.00:00:24.479
- 00:00:24.479
- In the windows, there are four paintings00:00:28.258
- 00:00:28.258
- announcing the death of Freedom, Love,00:00:32.143
- 00:00:32.143
- Faith, and Hope.00:00:36.658
- 00:00:36.658
- The theme I chose for the paintings00:00:39.309
- 00:00:39.309
- refers to the ability of men00:00:42.116
- 00:00:42.116
- to concretize meanings,00:00:45.099
- 00:00:45.099
- instead of just abstracting them.00:00:47.882
- 00:00:47.882
- In this case, abstract themes00:00:50.349
- 00:00:50.349
- of love, freedom, hope and faith00:00:53.344
- 00:00:53.344
- are concretized.00:00:56.663
- 00:00:56.663
- We often perceive the death of a person00:00:58.494
- 00:00:58.494
- by means of an obituary,00:01:01.639
- 00:01:01.639
- which is another concretization of death.00:01:03.967
- 00:01:03.967
- The purpose of the happening00:01:07.521
- 00:01:07.521
- is a discussion about our part00:01:10.283
- 00:01:10.283
- in shaping our reality,00:01:13.167
- 00:01:13.167
- our responsibility for losing these values.00:01:15.304
- 00:01:15.304
- And if they are really lost,00:01:19.014
- 00:01:19.014
- we should flush them down properly.00:01:21.517
- 00:01:21.517
- So have some vodka and lard!00:01:24.271
- 00:01:24.271
- And let's listen to Graeme and Veronika.00:01:27.143
- 00:01:27.143
- It's really strange to walk down the street00:02:01.163
- 00:02:01.163
- and see something like this.00:02:04.663
- 00:02:04.663
- All you can say is "Wow, that's beautiful!".00:02:07.308
- 00:02:07.308
- It's funerary street art.00:02:11.113
- 00:02:11.113
- I really like it00:02:14.403
- 00:02:14.403
- because there are few things like that.00:02:16.290
- 00:02:16.290
- Funerary art can be found00:02:19.957
- 00:02:19.957
- at any decent cemetery.00:02:22.442
- 00:02:22.442
- But on the street, just like that...00:02:25.300
- 00:02:25.300
- That's something else, that's unique.00:02:30.362
- 00:02:30.362
- Look at it now, with all the sun.00:02:33.626
- 00:02:33.626
- It really looks great.00:02:37.312
- 00:02:37.312
- I'm going to take a picture of it00:02:40.891
- 00:02:40.891
- because now the scene is perfect.00:02:43.855
- 00:02:43.855
- My last question is if you did it00:02:48.434
- 00:02:48.434
- for this particular exhibition.00:02:52.035
- 00:02:52.035
- - Hm, did I? - That's a question.00:02:55.210
- 00:02:55.210
- Yes, it is. I think I did not.00:02:58.799
- 00:02:58.799
- I think you did it for the whole future.00:03:01.911
- 00:03:01.911
- Because this exhibition will end00:03:06.658
- 00:03:06.658
- and we're going to sober up.00:03:09.845
- 00:03:09.845
- But we'll remember this, even if we deny it.00:03:14.449
- 00:03:14.449
- Sure.00:03:18.337
