- Now that I focus less on video art,00:00:33.042
- 00:00:33.042
- the particular layout is suddenly very important00:00:40.058
- 00:00:40.058
- for the creation of my works.00:00:44.697
- 00:00:44.697
- This event stemmed from my reflections00:00:48.882
- 00:00:48.882
- about the inside, the outside,00:00:52.487
- 00:00:52.487
- and the space between,00:00:55.487
- 00:00:55.487
- which is the window of the gallery.00:00:57.696
- 00:00:57.696
- I worked with the mirroring of reality.00:01:01.068
- 00:01:01.068
- I put two wide-angle mirrors in the window,00:01:04.694
- 00:01:04.694

- 00:01:10.205
- The space in front of the gallery00:01:14.630
- 00:01:14.630
- resembles a staged reality in a movie.00:01:17.961
- 00:01:17.961
- I play with a change of context:00:01:21.400
- 00:01:21.400
- people come to a vernissage00:01:24.768
- 00:01:24.768
- only to find themselves at a movie shooting.00:01:27.616
- 00:01:27.616
- But the scene is incomplete00:01:32.289
- 00:01:32.289
- since there's no camera.00:01:35.289
- 00:01:35.289
- It's the window that makes it whole.00:01:38.305
- 00:01:38.305
- There's also another motif:00:01:45.008
- 00:01:45.008
- through the window00:01:48.799
- 00:01:48.799
- you can look outside the gallery,00:01:51.299
- 00:01:51.299
- seeing reality enclosed in a frame.00:01:54.089
- 00:01:54.089
- I see this as a parallel to a movie frame.00:01:57.492
- 00:01:57.492
- Similarly, a movie frame is created here00:02:01.946
- 00:02:01.946
- by the staged situation00:02:05.836
- 00:02:05.836
