We are an editorial collective shaped by the artistic environment. Our focus is on contemporary art in the context of current social issues, along with an exploration of its critical potential.
The aim of the reports is to acquaint the public with what is happening on the art scene, to provide information about current exhibitions and to create a certain type of archive. From 2006 up to the present we have collected over 2000 reports of exhibitions, many of which are based on our longterm cooperation with various institutions across the Czech Republic. Besides classical exhibition reports this section comprises also specifically orientated reports.
The artist´s report program called “Ruka Ruku Mumie”, which is designed for social networks, dates from 2021. Two hand puppets (Hand and Mummy) acquaint the public in a humorous way with current art events.
The report podcast called Hrabáreň came out at the beginning of 2022. Peter Kolárčik, the author of the podcast, informs us about current events, exhibitions or books and he interviews different artists, curators and theoreticians.
In 2021 Artyčok.TV social networks also presented an author´s program called Service of Martina M. Holá. A series on visual arts with a subtitle News from Media that Nobody Reads provided information about current themes on the international art scene, e.g. decolonization of museums, the digital art market or the position of women in culture.
Among archive programs we ought to mention thirty parts of a series directed by the artist Marek Ther entitled “Alpy im vranním sluníčky” presented between 2009 and 2013. Besides his exhibition reports he documented also “not quite artistic events”.1089 results
