Nuit Blanche 2012

Nuit Blanche is an international art project rediscovering urban surroundings which gain consequently another dimension.

The city changes during the night into an interactive space and its common night cycle ceases to exist for several hours. Music and light installations provide the city night with life and the night becomes white.“
The white night is an event for which a permission has to be bought. Within preparations for the European City of Culture such event meets its resolution – to attract as many people as possible to contemporary art. In the centre gathered crowds of people like never before, everyone met some acquaintances there and everyone had to queue to see some art.
