The exhibition Nie/No is a survey of the works created by Bruce Nauman over the past few decades, reflecting the successive stages in his artistic development. It includes works from the Tate collection in London and the Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo.

Nauman’s work is marked by a tendency to reveal incoherence and he strives to trace and highlight cracks and fractures in the seemingly uniform and cohesive surface of representation.

One of the important aspects of Nauman’s art is his tendency to show the ‘inner’ aspect of things, to present unofficial meanings, hidden inside, as equally important to those available from the ‘outside’.
