The exhibition of the young artist Milan Ladyka (1981) is a selection of his two current projects. The first one is a set of collages Sad Pony Guerilla Girl which was used as a base for a videoclip of a musical project called Xiu Xiu. The exhibition presents original pictures as a musical video. In the second project The User Milan Ladyka Likes People he deals with problems of self-presentation on the internet social networks (Facebook). He uses a collage technique for rejoining „ profiman“ which he subsequently combines by authorial or random sampling. Part of the exhibition opening will be a sound performance defined by the artist as an „idle electro“ (resp. „an idle electro-pop“) created from predefined functions of a children’s keyboard connected to yellowish computer speakers whose specific sound was marked by time. The children’s keyboard and PC speakers form a musically-artistic instrument for imaginary pictures/diagrams generating.
