GEORGIAN SUMMER

The Georgian Summer is an interpretation of letters written to Georgian friends by Boris Pasternak. While writing warm personal and professional messages to close friends many of whom had been by the time already imprisoned or executed by Stalinists regime. Text is full of loving memories recalling friendly meetings and talks with poets in Tbilisi. At the same time the real everyday conditions were so much different. Danger, fear and threat of possible death mixed with romantic pathos of a Bohemian community life.
