Miro Hric works with small statues collected on his travels around the world. He interconnects those statues through different postures, pointing towards the blending of cultures, and drawing traditional customs out of their natural environments.
Jarmila Džuppová and Mikuláš Podprocký, a painter and a sculptor (and animator), are among the most interesting graduates of the Košice Faculty of Arts, whose work has many common attributes. It is based on drawing and a drawing-related vision of the world based on shorthand.
