Im Zimmer

“Im Zimmer”  is a name of an exhibition of Lotte Lyon in a Viennese off space LOVE, run in a former flat. Lotte Lyon works with the space as if it was still resided. A monumental structure over two walls is dominating the installation and it works with its variability in geometrical rules. Interesting is a set of photographs from her flat in Vienna and Tokio, where she had previously lived and worked with articles of daily use and flat equipment as if it was a specific type of sculptural material. The object of a floor trapdoor was created in a cooperation with Christian Hutzinger. Each artist worked on the object in his way and thereby was created a kind of confrontation of techniques and ways of thinking about the same thing.
