Following solos shows in Cologne, Paris, Vienna and purchases by the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris and London’s Tate Gallery, the Slovak National Gallery is preparing its first monumental retrospective of Julius Koller’s (1939-2007) work.
Koller became one of the few artists from former Czechoslovakia, whose quality was appreciated by the Western art world. Curated by Aurel Hrabušický and Petra Hanáková, the exhibition includes works from both domestic and foreign public and private collections.
