Kurtichy or as if nothing was happening

The exhibition of the prominent Czech sculptor and pedagogue at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague Kurt Gebauer is placed in the back pit next to the National Technical Library entrance. The exhibition presents less known part of the artist’s work – his photographs. Besides almost voyeuristic pictures of women that named the exhibition (the neologism Kurtichy was created by putting together the artist’s first name and the surname of the famous topographer Miroslav Tichý), Kurt Gebauer introduces also his petite sculptures.
