Live Cinema - a) What is VJing? / b) Contemporary Gesamtkunstwerk

The contribution of the theoretician and occasional curator Martin Mazanec focuses on the explanation of Vjing and the description of common areas of different forms of the live imagery and fine art. The principal question – how practice of commercial or authors´ Vjing influence contemporary artists and their exhibition projects – is supplemented by the premise that esthetic, technological and social aspects of Vjing develop the starting points of classical modernism and Vjing is considered as an extended tool to present art between discourses which dominate, resound, fade or are just beginning to be anticipated in different environments.
