New Face in Hell is the title of the featured exhibition by Matej Fabian, a fifth year student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. He studies under the tuition of Professor Ivana Csudai in the Department of Painting and Media.
New Face in Hell isn’t just Matej’s first solo exhibition, but also the first independent painting project that responds directly to its exhibition space. The choice of subject matter and format of the images were made in reaction to the nature of the industrial hangar where the pictures are installed.
