The topic of still-life prevails in the work of Ján Šipöcz (1983). It mainly involves discovered or re-discovered objects linking the series based on a principle of a given concept much described by its title. Šipöcz thus works with recollections and memories. Ján Šipöcz however uplifts the objects seen every day to artefacts thanks to his artistic perception of his “sections of reality”.
