The prize is passed as a gesture of younger generations of artists and theorists to the older generation of artists. It is about recognition, which is mediated to the selected artist whose election involving more than 100 people across the Czech Republic, who at the time of voting is 35 years old and nominating two artists over 35 years. Of the total votes received there is a group of finalists. Age limit “nominators” is selected intuitively; character of the prize for each year depends on a meeting of jury with finalists in their studios.
