Curator Piotr Stasiowski presents Uncanny, a group show of video artists who derive inspiration from horror movies. Using the language of cinema the artists create scenes in their work which awaken feelings of eeriness in their audience.
In this way the artists create a space which is filled with perversion, violence and fantasy hidden in seemingly banal gestures. Those gestures can bring us, or at least alert us, to the madness which can be found in our seemingly balanced lives.
