Works of Eja Devečková has been noticeably resonating at home art platform since 2009 when she presented herself by a couple of videos at the exhibition of Essl Award finalists. Then she clearly formulated her thematic orientation and her original visual language. She graduated from Academy of Fine Arts and Design at IN Ilona Neméth’s studio and since then she has been stably featuring in the field of video, video performances, installations and also site-specific realizations making use of direct participation of a viewer. The main idea of her works is the role of art today and in society.
