develoop

Ján Triaška exhibition develoop is about the everyday routine, criticism and negative phenomena of society. He does not follow the tradition of Slovak modern art, neither it is the eclectic art to relativize the tradition. The character of paintings is inovative and it brings its view. The presented works of art represent the newest work of years 2012 – 2013. Triaška gives an interesting example how not to slide down to dead end street of painting, but to gain an individual experience form this conservative and reflexive esence.

Jestrdej (1983), a silent black-and-white film bordering on video performance about the small everyday mysteries with classic film gag elements, accompanied by commentary in which he reflects upon his position at that time as an “Olomouc performer”. Thus the work Yesterday (1983– 2008) was created that opens a regular presentation of videos from the AVU Research Center video archive.
