Erik Šille (*1978, Rožňava) graduated at Academy of Fine Arts and design at the studio IV of painting department under Prof. Ivan Csudai. In his work there is apparent inspirational intersection of visual aesthetics of popular culture such as street art, comics, animated cartoon and computer videogames. He particularly works with colour in space which evokes illusion (simulation) of an electronic picture – painting generated by a computer programme. New at the exhibition in Turčianská Gallery in Martin are his light objects.
