Je ne travaille jamais

The project Je ne travaille jamais focused on the circumstances of the creative and "work" process in the field of contemporary art from the perspective of a curator and theorist. He did not understand it only as a social and political problem, as is often the case today, but wanted to implicitly examine it in the process of a kind of "staged theory" as a complex topic. The author of the concept and curator placed himself and his activities in quotation marks of interpretation, within which he inserted himself as an individual sample into the laboratory environment of an experimental gallery space. However, along with himself and his "work," he also brought a fragment of the artistic "scene" with which he is connected through his activities. This is not so much a mimetic and performative transfer of "reality" into the scenic framework of the gallery, but rather a transfer of individual themes and issues.

Je ne travaille jamais
We know and repeatedly analyze a host of issues with commercial social media and digital labour, but little attention is paid to efforts at building alternatives, such as community-run social media and other forms of de-platformization.
Against the totality of networks and corporately owned social media, what are workable strategies and ethical approaches that allow for alternative ways for our social life to emerge?
