URBAN EXPLORATION

Jaroslav Varga (1982, Trebišov) in his work explores the phenomenon of experience as a performance by reviewing the usual forms of mediation. Creates a new choreographed movement of the viewer in a familiar area, or transfers the viewer to the new contexts through fiction. Creates a quasi guidebooks for urban explorers (Urbex), in which constructs new topography and encourages a new understanding of the contexts of the places, which are otherwise stereotypically locked in memory. Thus the images of the past made present, or imaginary micro-conflicts in parallel worlds of the city, being played in real time and space again and again.
