The Měsíc ve dne gallery presented a pair of works by Tomáš Vaněk. The starting point for Particip, numbered 220, was a collection of sentences in which people described situations to the author that they believe almost all of us experience and are familiar with (Particip 39). This time, Vaněk transformed selected sentences into visual diagrams, which he used to cover the walls of the gallery. The second part of the exhibition was a book publication of eight hundred of Vaněk's "SMS drawings," with which he has been commenting on various visual problems, everyday ideas, and situations for the fifth year (Particip 219 – Book of SMS drawings created under Particip No. 191). Vaněk regularly publishes his drawings on social media, and the book Particip 219 is their first comprehensive edition.
The exhibition was fully prepared for October and November of this year. During the gallery's closure, individual diagrams from Particip 220 were gradually published on social media with a call for further expansion of sentence descriptions of familiar situations.
