Space Study 2+6

The sound artists Rafael Toral performs his alternative combination of electronic and jazz music at the exhibition of Rui Toscano. In the interview Toral explains the results of his long term research about the patterns of thinking on jazz and on electronic music. This unusual performance in Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art gallery in Lisbon is a part of the Space Program, a thematic series of exhibitions and records dedicated to the developing of  new languages in the contemporary arts in Portugal.

Although Tomáš Knoflíček is an art historian specializing in Medieval art and teaches at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Ostrava, he is also well-known for his versatile projects dealing with contemporary art and music. He is primarily concerned with the role of art in society, above all its communication potential in public space.
