JCHA 555 TV studio Zurich. What is videoart?

The author set up an improvised TV studio in a module she had been provided with. Invited actors – presenters created a typical reality show where they introduced the viewers into the topic „What is videoart“ and offered them immediately several answers. As a part of the presentation it was possible to see one of Adéla Babanová’s works projected on the wall of The Research Library in Hradec Králové.

The accompanyig program 5 Finalists 5 Months 5 Places is a presentatin of the most prestigious Jindřich Chalupecký Award. The artist Adéla Babanová created an improvised TV studio in a module which continued her long-run authorial conception. The invited actors – presenters created a typical reality show where they introduced the viewers into the topic „What is Videoart“. The show parodied similar TV programmes. The participants offered the visitors a wide range of answers to the question. It was possible to see one of Adéla Babanová’s works projected on the wall of The Research Library in Hradec Králové as a part of the presentation.
