Vínoslava Svařená is the first exhibition of the young artist from Košice Světlana Fialová (1985) in Bratislava. Combining and connecting different materials and a full use of photocopier are characteristics typical of her recent work. She thereby establishes a sort of question of originality and fake. The thematic base of her work is created by ordinary people and their stories and she often concentrates on their psychological problems she subsequently depicts. She finds inspiration in popular culture, the internet, urban legends, both made up and real situatons from her neighbourhood. The exhibition brings a view on the artist’s current work with a stress laid on drawing and mixing techniques within the bounds of her present concern.
