Reconstruction of historical events, namely the displacement of Germans from Poland after the 2nd World War II. Art project of Katarzyna Blaszkowiak named „We Were From Here” reflects present situation of region and people on Baltic coast in Eastern Pomerania. During a month long travel by foot in February 2010 she is doing photographic and film documentaries, interviews and searching relations between German past and Polish current. The result is published in parallel on http://bylismystad.blogspot.com/ and is being prepared for coming exhibition in Cracow.
