Six years ago five curators began to compile a collection of art called Contact. Belonging to the Austrian bank Erste Group, the collection includes works from Austria, as well as the former socialist countries Bohemia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Romania.
Curator Jiří Ševčík, who was part of a team to create a collection for Contact in 2004, now brings a selection of Contact’s conceptual works from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s to the newly opened Gallery of the Central Region in Kutna Hora.
