Erik Vilím (born 1990) is an aesthetist and curator. From 2017 to 2019 he completed his doctoral studies at the Institute of Literary and Artistic Communication at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. His most recent artwork is called Meditativeness of Expression in Visual Art.
During his studies Vilím organized solo and group exhibitions, while working as an assistant at the Zahorian & Van Espen Gallery. In 2018 he prepared, together with Marie Janusová, the exhibition #OK XII. Triennial of a Small Object and Drawing in Banská Štiavnica. He is currently organizing a discussion format of debators at the Kunsthalle Bratislava, which focuses on presenting the artwork of the younger generation. He also works as a project editor at the Kunsthalle Bratislava.
