Memory of the Neighbourhood is an exhibition and a set of accompanying progammes examinig historical roots of their surroundings and places them into a present-day infrastructure of the Bucharest periphery. At the end of the exhibition a lecture Post-Industrial was held which referred to the value of industrial sights and possibilities of a functional use within culture activities.
The Make a Point association tries to decongest the centre and facilitate cultural happenings in the city’s outskirts, in neighborhoods, abandoned halls, factories or other such locations. We live in an unpleasant city, which was left to us this way. We make our peace with this and try to give back the city to the people.
