First Snow

Although Václav Girsa belongs among young artists, his original expression captivated both experts and public immediately at the very first exhibitions he participated in. Even though he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts not long ago, his expression is accomplished. But at the same time he allows further development. His work has been developing in two basic lines, which don´t let him stagnate or get into blind alley. The first line of his work shows considerable imagination, which oscillates between a horror and a fairy tale. In the second group of work he gets to compositions in which the influence of minimalism is very obvious. Both lines will be presented in NoD Gallery in a selection of his recent work so that the contrast and tension between them will be created.
