SATellite is an artist group initiated by Delia Bulgaru, Clara Casian, Anca Ștefănică, Alex Tărnăuceanu, Andrei Timofte and Cristina Totolici in 2010. They previously studied Mural Art at the University of Arts in Iași.
The artistic practice developed by the members of the group is often participatory and investigates how the current socio-cultural context reflects a collective perception.
The group works with various media for their art projects such as installation, performance, sculpture and video.
Their artworks are focused on certain concerns, phenomena or quotidian issues, therefore the projects become a chronicle in images of the important local events.
