The Offense of Things

Move or be moved by some thing rather than oneself.

We are moving in a world of things. This is a current theme. However, it is still difficult to define in fact what a thing is. To what extent it is a product, material or a physical phenomenon. The issue of relation networks, in which these things “work”, also plays a considerable role. In our culture even our own bodies are often regarded as things. Not as a whole but as a sum of smaller, mutually linked parts. Our limbs and organs require similar care as the things around us that we use.
